Outboard Covers America (OCA) warrants its outboard motor covers, will meet applicable industry standards and warrants to the original purchaser, for a period of three year from date of purchase, that their outboard cover/s are free from defects in material and workmanship in accordance with industry standards.
The three year warranty period begins the date of delivery of this product to original purchaser. This warranty will not apply to any product if it is determined by Outboard Covers America (OCA) that the product became defective or damaged because of neglect, misuse, abuse, and accident or if it was used for purposes not to which it was not intended. Also warranty is void if ANY alterations have been made to the product.
Return Policy
For any returns, please contact Outboard Covers America (OCA) by e-mail (orders@outboardcovers.com) outlining the problem with the product. Remedy of defective materials of workmanship shall be the repair or the replacement of the product solely at the discretion of Outboard Covers America and shall complete all repairs under this warranty at our factory.
To return a warranty claim, please ensure the cover is clean (washed as per our cleaning instructions) and FREE from dust, and grime including wet oil or grease. All returns must be shipped pre-paid by shipper preferably with a method that has a tracking number. Lost items in the post will not be covered by this company. If Outboard Covers America (OCA) is unable, within a reasonable time (as defined by Outboard Covers America: normally 3-5 weeks, due to distance & postage issues), to repair or replace any product to a condition as warranted, the original purchaser may be supplied with a brand new cover/s without expense to the customer. We do not give refunds but will gladly replace or repair the "faulty" product. Should you order the wrong cover we will not refund or replace the item unless purchased again. If Outboard Covers America (OCA) send the wrong cover & it is our fault we will gladly send the correct cover, but the customer will need to return the initial cover (at their expense) and once returned we will make the correct product & postage etc will be at our expense.
This company does not take back covers because the customer has simply changed his or her mind or the cover was not what that thought it would be. The customer needs to do due diligence BEFORE purchasing one of these covers as each cover is made to suit the requirements of the individual customer (color, size shape etc). As stated if the cover does not fit we will endeavor to correct the mistake (only if made by us) and state clearly, WE DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS.
Outboard Covers America (OCA) reserves the right to make improvements in design, construction, and appearance of products without notice.
Delivery
At Outboard Covers America (OCA), we make everything you order from scratch, especially for you! This means it takes a little time to make your product to your specifications before we ship it off to you. We work hard at getting your products made as quickly as possible and ask that you please allow up to 3-4 weeks normally to complete the transaction (including delivery time).
Payment
Payment will be taken from the provided credit card on the day or close to the order day. The reason we do this is we are making a custom cover FOR YOU (a one of, as we have over 700 patterns it is classed as a one of) in the color/s, leg size, pull start option etc, so payment will be upfront. You agree not to cancel the transaction 12 hours after receiving the OCA order confirmation. If you decide to do you will still be liable for the total value of the cover, because it would have been cut out or even made after that time frame.
Taxes / Shipping Policy
No taxes/bank fees or import duties are added to the total cost of the order and are the responsibility of the customer when claiming the item to pay for these.
