Outboard Covers to suit the range of Mercury & Mariner Outboards

Outboard Covers America have designed a range of covers that have been especially designed to suit the range of Mercury/Mariner outboard motors. Each cover from 2 - 300hp has had a pattern made to ensure each cover is a great fit and does not impede the performance of the motor in anyway.

As you are probably aware OCA make covers that are designed to suit a particular motor shape and size. So a 90hp Mercury will not fit a 90hp Johnson as an example. When you buy a cover from OCA we have already made the pattern for that particular motor shape and size. All we need from you the customer is the engine model number of the motor.

We offer 2 types of covers the full covers, which are suitable full use towing at high speed or simply for storing. The second cover we offer is called a Splash® Cover which has been designed to protect the cowling from minor damage when operating on or off the water.

Yes, you can leave the SPLASH cover on when the motor is operating as they are vented & approved by Mercury and they are not made of vinyl & have a soft felt like backer so they won't sweat which may cause corrosion & problems later on!

" Regarding using the logos Mercury/Mariner on our covers, at this stage Mercury have asked us to stop printing this trade mark brand, at the time of writing (7/9/05) we still cannot use the brand logos for the Mercury or Mariner....but check out the free option below........
Mercury with special stripe
" This stripe is now available on all splash covers (free option) ordered on motors over 75hp". When ordering just specify "special stripe" in the comments box on the order form. Oh and it costs no more, this is one way of combating not being able to use the Mercury/Mariner logos.

There are many choices you can make when selecting colors, but as an example if you are looking at getting your cover very dusty we would recommend the burgundy with a darker color.

Another example is those with Mercury outboards normally go for the black with either a blue or burgundy stripe or Mariner Light grey with a black stripe to match the original motor color.

However, you could also go with the Navy blue & light grey. It's really hard to recommend colors for clients as most look good. But the choice is ultimately yours, you may wish to match up your outboard cover with the striping on the boat, seat or carpet colors?
